Back in Photography Class!

Second semester has started and this will be my third semester in photography. These are pictures from our first assignment, which was an open theme.

The first picture is a good view, different from what we usually see. The second picture I guess I got the cat to sit still enough to get a sharp picture. (ISO: 1600, Aperature: 4.4, Shutter: 1/30, Focal Length: 34mm)
(ISO:640, Aperature: 4.4, Shutter: 1/30, Focal length: 34mm)
This is Stella, the naughty bull puppy. She's Karli and Alexa's dog. I like the shallow depth of field in this picture.
(ISO:500, Aperature: 4, Shutter: 1/30, Focal Length 26mm)
On Sunday while babysitting the girls, Karli played outside while Lexa took a nap and I took pictures. She was playing on her swing set and I noticed this board out of place which is automatically a good picture if you can figure out a good composition.
(ISO: 100, Aperture: 9, Shutter: 1/320, Focal Length: 38mm)
Bird tracks maybe? Not sure but I like it!
(ISO: 100, Aperture: 8, Shutter: 1/400, Focal Length: 28mm)
 Icicles of course
(ISO: 100, Aperture: 7.1, Shutter: 1/400, Focal Length: 55mm)
(ISO: 100, Aperture: 7.1, Shutter: 1/320, Focal Length: 55mm)
I bet these are stella's tracks, the big ones of course, the little ones, I just don't know!
(ISO:100, Aperture: 10, Shutter: 1/400, Focal Length: 20mm)

A little about Brooke

I love living in a small town. In rain or sun, snow or heat waves, humid or desert dry, being outside is the always the best thing. Country everything is great. Fishing In the Dark is my favorite song and the first song I learned to play on guitar.
I want to be a farmer.  :)

My pig, who's name should be Oscar but has instead been changed to Porky or just pig, is the best

 My boots save my life.
Hikes and heights are fun things! I am not afraid of heights... or spiders.... or snakes.

Muscleeeee. but apparently only in one arm.

I figure skate
My Ugly Stik is with my 90% of the summer. Brooke's largest catch 19.5 inch LM bass!

I flew to Maryland when I was 11 and again when I was 15 to visit my uncle.

I have CRPS, which makes my leg, bones, nerves and everything go crazy so kayaking saved me when I was on crutches.

Rochester, MN

I got to take a trip to Rochester again. Of course to the Mayo Clinic. Kind of a pointless trip if you ask me, they tried telling me I have shin splints. Uhh, would I really go to the doctor for shin splints, and do these "shin splints" happen in one specific spot in my leg? I think not. So basically they don't know what is wrong. Well besides that part, I did a few pictures while I was there! We stayed at the Kahler Grand Hotel. Mayo Clinic was a walk across the street for us. And not to mention the amazing pool they had for me!

 A lottt of sky walks!
Mayo Clinic- Gonda Building right outside the hotel
Reflection of the buildings in the Mayo Clinic windows
There's the entrance, right across the street!
The pool, I didn't take this picture but I had to post it!
